This blog just crossed 2 million hits – Thanks !!!

Today this blog crossed 2 million hits !!!

Last time the first [1 million] milestone was achieved at June 2015, and it took almost 5 years to achieve this.

This time in Jan 2017 the 2 million milestone got achieved in just 1 year 6 months (to get extra 1 million hits).

This time WordPress.com stats helper monkeys didn’t prepare annual report for any of their blogs for year 2016. So I prepared my own Annual Report.

The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 640,749 times by 396,212 unique visitors in 2016. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 20 days for that many people to see it.

There were 117 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 3.1 MB. That’s about 2-3 pictures per week.

The most popular post blogged in 2016 was SQL Server 2016 RTM full and final version available viewed 25,829 times.

Feeling very happy to see my blog crossing 1 million hits today 🙂

I started blogging on WordPress from August 2010 and it took almost 5 years to achieve one million mark!

Just Last year in July 2014 I purchased and moved to my own domain name SQLwithManoj dot com within WordPress itself and WordPress really took care of it without any issues. You must be seeing some Ads on this site, so the annual domain fee is also recovered from the Ads revenue I get.
